YOGA PRACTICE is a Yoga program, started in 2015 as a project from Bangalore Dance Collective, a non-profit organization initiated by Abhilash Ningappa, among various artists and collaborators.

The 200 HR YTT certificate program is registered under Yoga Alliance’s RYT-200, which is internationally recognized. This is a foundation yoga course focusing on strong essential principles and is based on traditional Indian yogis’ formats of education. Practice, Research and Mastery are the three principles at the core of this program, the goal of which is to make you deepen your self-awareness and take your own practice to the next level.

Teaching yoga is about sharing your own experience and knowledge with your fellow practitioners. This course blends both modern and traditional methodologies: yoga is not a fixed practice, but it keeps evolving and so are the teaching techniques. Discover what it takes to be an inspiring yoga teacher, practice and learn how to build effective yoga sessions, challenge your practice and explore new ways of sharing your own experience with future students.

Yoga Practice studio is located on Mysore Road, on the outskirts of Banglore. Here you can completely immerse yourself into the practice of yoga, far from the chaos of the city but at the same time close to any facilities you may need, such as convenient stores, recreational spots, ayurvedic massage centers and others.

His Words

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, and flexible, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully.

I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.

In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a bit of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive in live by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

I take personal and individualized approach integrating various styles of yoga, influenced by my teachers and with my own experience inspired by Power vinyasa Ashtanga vinyasa

The basis of my teaching philosophy is that yoga can benefit all body types; if you can breathe, you can benefit from yoga. The base of my classes is a focus on breath and alignment while leading students through a series of asanas. The sequence and intensity of the class vary in accordance with students’ experience and energy. My classes are accessible to beginners, while also challenging for intermediate students – with individual attention paid to each student staying true to the original training roots

2014 was a complete change over met with an accident, which left me with broken femur, and radius, which left me bed ridden for 3 months; felt I would not be able to practice yoga anymore but it helped me to get back faster
